This position is for a Maintenance Specialist to support Boeing Defence UK’s Maintenance and Modification capabilities across multiple sites and aircraft types in the UK, and continued exciting growth in these areas.

Job Responsibilities:

•    Working with the incumbent Operations Manager and supporting Level 3 Maintenance Specialist, lead the maintenance and development of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) for BDUK’s Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Publication Part 145 (MRP Pt 145) Approval under the Maintenance Approved Organisation Scheme (MAOS).

•    Working with SMEs / focals for each aircraft platform and site, lead the uplift of the MOE and associated key documents/processes to incorporate planned and emergent changes to BDUK’s MRP Part 145 Approval, including regulatory compliance, sites, maintenance activity scope/capabilities, aircraft platforms and Safety and Quality Management Systems, during an exciting period of significant growth and change for BDUK.

•    Working with SMEs / focals for each aircraft platform and site, lead the process for change impact assessment against MAA Regulatory Article Notices of Proposed Amendment and Authorised Amendment (NPA/NAA), including the generation of new or amended processes for BDUK and impact statements and financial or other penalty statements to the Authority.
